Labor of LOVE

Determining the Bag’s Shape & Dimensions

We work to define the perfect silhouette that complements your desired functionality and aesthetic. Exact measurements are determined to ensure the bag meets your practical and stylistic needs.

Selecting the Appropriate Leather

We identify the type of leather that best suits the design, prioritizing texture, durability, and luxury. Only trusted suppliers who meet our standards for quality and sustainability are considered. Each piece of leather is carefully chosen for its unique grain, color, and character.

Choosing the Thread

Thread selection ensures durability and complements the design’s color palette.

Measuring & Cutting Pattern & Leather

Precision is key as we measure and mark the leather for cutting. Using masterful techniques, we cut the leather with accuracy to achieve clean and balanced pieces. Patterns are precisely cut to form the foundation of the bag’s structure.

Skiving, Trimming, Sealing, Sanding and Polishing the Edges

The edges are carefully thinned for a seamless and polished look. Excess material is removed for a clean, professional finish. A protective seal is applied to maintain the bag’s durability and elegance. The edges are smoothed to enhance comfort and refinement. Each edge is polished to perfection, giving the bag a luxurious finish.

Applying Dyes, Colors and Adhesives

Custom colors or finishes are applied to bring the leather to life. Glue is used to join parts of the leather, preparing them for stitching.

Punching Holes with Pricking Irons

Holes are meticulously punched to ensure even stitching and to carefully fit the hardware.

Stitching the Leather

By hand, our artisans sew the pieces together, ensuring unmatched precision and durability.

Selecting and Securing the Hardware

We match your bag with high-quality hardware that enhances its beauty and functionality. Every piece of hardware is securely attached for both function and style.

Attaching the Brand Label and Personalizing Your Message

Our signature House of SISA label is added, signifying authenticity and quality. We craft a thoughtful, personalized message to accompany your order.

Packing with Care, Shipping and Billing

Each piece is carefully packed to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. We arrange for secure delivery, tracking your shipment to ensure it arrives safely.
